Previous Deacon Dash Photos Top Fundraisers - 1st Time Teams Top Fundraiser- Returning Teams Most Walkers - New Teams Most Walkers- Returning Teams | Event Details The 3-2-1 Deacon Dash for Down Syndrome is a 5K race fundraising event with an extra .11 mile added for a 3.21 total distance for the awareness and support of individuals with Down syndrome! Most people have 2 copies of 23 different chromosomes but individuals with Down syndrome are born with 3 copies of the 21st chromosome (the medical term for this is Trisomy 21). Your official time will be captured at the 5K finish line; the DASH is just for fun! Date: Saturday, March 30th at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds, 421 27th Street NW, Winston-Salem, NC 27105 Parking: Enter the fairgrounds through Gate 5 off of Deacon Boulevard and park in the Midway lot.
